Electric Vehicles: Opportunities and funding for Corby Businesses

The transition to electric vehicles has truly begun.

More and more car manufacturers are unveiling a new generation of electric cars and vans. The UK Government has banned sales of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2040 at the latest…and many anticipate a tipping point to be reached in the transition to EV’s much earlier than that. The move to low emission electric vehicles is truly underway.

With the EV revolution in full swing, many Corby businesses are looking at charging infrastructure to encourage footfall, generate revenue, retain staff and meet their sustainability goals. Many are also exploring the significant fuel, road tax, and maintenance cost savings that electric fleet vehicles can offer.

However, most businesses are unaware of the funding and support available to help businesses and staff to purchase chargers and electric vehicles… and more importantly, why they should consider acting now.

Electric Corby’s latest initiative will highlight the funding available now for Corby businesses to invest in electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. We have also secured funding to provide charge points for up to four Corby businesses free of charge. Come along to our latest information event and learn how to apply.
